Graphic Design, Art Direction & Custom Type
Sarah Stendel is an award-winning graphic designer from Offenbach am Main, Germany. Coming from a background of making music in live bands she draws her graphic inspiration from old festival posters and vinyl record sections of international thrift shops. Sarah enjoys remixing the old and combining analog ways with digital ones.
Since 2021 she's been working with a global type foundry together with her colleagues Ana Andreeva (New York) & Dalton Bruyns (Melbourne). Modern Type is focused on multiscriptual typefaces to build stronger foundational knowledge of non-euro-centric perspectives.
